They're a significant number of unemployed veterans who have protected our nation in foreign wars. As they come home looking for direction we should pave a path and position them to protect us again here at home. A well vetted and seasoned combat veteran standing post at our nation's schools would deter horrific shooting incidents and give opportunity to struggling veterans. It would also allow our children to learn without fear and give parents a priceless sense of security knowing a professional protector is safeguarding their children.
