In a single year, the average human emits 3.6 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
The average American individual, after one year, will have emitted 20 tons of CO2. This is 5.5 times the global average.
In other words, on average, the whole of the United States emits around 77,256,386,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 molecules of carbon dioxide annually.
It is time for Americans to stop polluting 5-and-1/2 times more than anyone else, and in addition develop renewable resources before we run out of the fuels required to do so. We are humans, those amazing beings who discovered fire and flew men to the moon. Yet today bipartisanship divides us at the eleventh hour, and hope seems lost. The government needs to provide for our posterity and help us preempt the woes of our past faults.
