Government officials need to do their part and start taking pay cuts. Every one is talking about cutting back, but how is it that our elected officials taking millions of dollars from special interest groups and still take over a 6 figure salary.
I believe an election needs to be done so that the people can set the salaries of any government official and pay increases will need to be voted and approved by the people.
Each government official will need to buy their own medical insurance and contribute to a 401K or any other type of retirement plan.
