It is time that those responsible for the dysfunction feel some of the discomfort it is generating.
This is a petition to stop paying the salaries of the President, Vice President, Cabinet, all members of the House of Representatives and the Senate until they have successfully passed and the President signs a budget and they have resolved the debt ceiling issue to prevent further delays of budgeted services, Veteran services, Social Security payments and goverment employees salaries.
Additionally, this petition proposes that all federal elected officials take a 20% reduction in pay and that those salaries and all associated benefits are frozen until the United States is operating on a balanced budget.
