Sallie Mae and Private Student Loan Industry

We would like to spread awareness of the predatory practices of student loan giant Sallie Mae and the flaws in the private student loan industry. We, the young graduates, who were tricked into believing that Sallie Mae was a student loan company that supported our life goals through helping finance our educations, now feel we became the prey of this monstrosity. We only realized how "duped" we were when, upon graduation, we were saddled with mounds of student loan debt, unfair student loan servicer practices, and no viable options to resolve our situations. This petition is to ask the administration to look at Sallie Mae and the private student loan industry, and create change in the private student loan industry. It is also to inform new potential student borrowers before it's too late!
