Same Laws For Public and Private Institutions

Begin holding the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the United States federal government to the same laws and standards that apply to private institutions and individuals in the US. Do not allow the government to operate as if it is 'above the law'. If an action or program would be considered illegal in the private sector, then apply the same standard to it in the public sector. This can be done simply by applying the laws that are already on the books to the totality of federal government programs, actions and decisions, and changing or eradicating everything that was found to be in violation. This would go far is eliminating corruption and criminal behavior in the federal government, and restore citizens faith in their government and elected officials.
