In America we have faced discrimination against all races in society. We have always taught that discrimination is wrong; which is something we try to convey to our children; but think to yourself, are you emulating what we have always been taught to be wrong? We claim our country to be "Free," but when our own people don't have the freedom to love each other and express that trough marriage, are we really a free country at all? We all know what love feels like, we love our parents and friends and significant others, is the feeling of love any different in a same sex marriage, love is love. Is there really any difference between love with a straight couple and a married couple? America is supposed to be the land of the free, if we don’t have the freedom to love are we really free at all.
