Same sex marriage rights

I believe that same sex couples should have the same rights that other couples have. Same sex marriage should be accepted in all 50 states along with granting them all the same benefits as heterosexual couples. This would lower the taxes on these couples who current have to put single on their tax forms and it would allow them to have many other rights that other couples take for granted such as: funeral/bereavement leave, insurance, survivorship for care of stepchildren, inheritance, or any other benefits received by their spouse. These and many more issues are just some of the basic rights denied to same sex couples, we can change this by legalizing their right to marriage in every state in our country.
