This petition is in counter to those who petition for release of Ed Snowden. Snowden was given a privileged access to government information and systems that he took an oath to protect. He stole government documents and provided potential relief to our foreign enemies in exposing government programs of interest to our national security. He is not a hero. He is not and should not be protected from his own choice of criminal behavior. As with any other spy, his own personal reasons for betraying the special trusts he was endowed with, have no bearing on the end result. He is a traitor to our country and should be tried and punished. This is not a civil liberties case.
