Sanction new commercial inter-state rail-road projects to compete with China, create jobs, save fuel, and boost economy.

Created by A.S. on January 22, 2013

Interstate commercial travel by rail in USA is in a deplorable state compared to Europe and China. It is surprising to see the biggest economy in the world ask its citizens to travel by air or automobiles to cover its vast distances over land. It is the exceptional engineering efforts and determination of the American people that brought to this great nation the trans-continental rail roads in the 19th century thus transforming her forever. However, it is unfortunate that Americans seem to have forgotten this glorious past and now rely completely on automobile transportation as the viable cost-effective alternative to air travel. Building more rail roads creates more jobs, draws business to small towns, enables competition with China, makes travel affordable, saves fuel, and boosts tourism
