On June 7, 2014 Petro Poroshenko was sworn in as the President of Ukraine. While running for office, he promised to dispose off all his assets once elected. In any civil society, major politicians need to free from conflict of interest while carrying out their duties. Instead of disposing off all his assets at Fair Market Value as at June 7, 2014, and focusing on his priorities as the President of Ukraine, Poroshenko has chosen to focus on personal enrichment at the cost of the Ukrainian taxpayers by selling products to the government of Ukraine from his Companies. Whilst we respect his choice, we petition Obama administration to impose sanctions on Petro Poroshenko, freeze all his personal and business accounts in US Dollars, and ban export of Poroshenko Companies products worldwide.
