Saudi Arabia has for too long fueled extremism not only in the Middle East, but also in Europe, particularly in Kosovo, without scrutiny. They have committed violations of international law within Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and many other examples. This is done either through discrete funding by private individuals or through direct military action by the Saudi Government. However, despite this, there has been relatively little international outcry, at least for an issue like this. Thus, sanctioning Saudi Arabia will send a profound international signal that they can't continue these actions.
