Saudi Arabia's purchase of a nuclear weapon from Pakistan threatens to start a nuclear arms race in the Middle East and to destabilize the entire region. If Iran faces sanction for attempting to create nuclear weapons, then Saudi Arabia must also face sanctions for purchasing one, ally or not.
