Approve new sanctions against Russia for its, and Assad's, indiscriminate bombing of civilians, hospitals and aid workers in Aleppo and throughout Syria, and for continuing to block peace in Ukraine by supporting Ukrainian separatists. These constitute war crimes and Russia, as one of the main enablers of Assad, should be made to face war crimes. No country that calls itself civilized and committed to peace would be able to perpetrate these actions. There is also continued evidence of active Russian support of Ukrainian separatists, with weapons and soldiers, to prevent a peaceful solution in Ukraine. With these acts, and other examples of Russian aggression, they are obviously opposed to peace in any form, unless it is on their terms. Russia should be isolated on the global stage.
