Ban all assault guns, no grandfather, buy back the guns.
No clip can hold more than 5 rounds, retractions: you can own only 3 clips.
Gun owners: register their guns every year, renew gun license every year.
Gun owners: no longer can they sell a gun to another person, they have to sell the gun to a gun shop or on consignment this way a back ground check can be done, track where the gun is and who owns it.
No one with a mental illness can be taught how to operate a gun. If anyone has knowledge that a person has mental illness and willing trains that person to operate a gun will be held responsible for any action that mentally ill person take
