We urge the Obama administration to actively and aggressively work with law makers in the House and Senate to bring about “The Sandy Hook Violence Prevention Act.” An all of the above bill that seriously, compassionately and constitutionally addresses the immediate and underlying causes of mass casualty events. It should be one bill and it should have three essential components.
-- Prohibit assault riffles, magazine extensions and the ‘automatic’ conversions of ‘semi-automatic’ weapons. --
-- Extend and Enhance the funding of mental health programs and facilities to fully meet the immediate and future needs of the American people. --
-- Affirm the Second Amendment, by clarifying the scope and limits of gun owners in America. --
