I'm proposing an amendment to the second amendment entitled the 'Sandyhook Amendment.' In response to the shootings using rapid fire guns, especially in Newton, Conneticut, which was the slaughter of innocents, I'm proposing an amendment to the second amendment of our constitution. In order that their deaths won't be in vain, may we finally have some sanity again in our country when it comes to individual gun ownership for the safety of the future of our country and children.
This amendment would establish the protection of those to own guns for hunting or self protection. Militarized weapons will always be for military use only. Polilce departments will destroy all weapons seized in crimes or from mentally ill going to body armor for police or organization(s) help violent crime victims.
