SAT and ACT scores are a big determining factor for the college's that you apply to, and whether or not you'll get an acceptance letter. Unfortunately, schools do not provide courses preparing you for these exams. Parents can sign their son/daughter up for a review class, but they're very pricey. Some are as much as $2,000 for 20 sessions. This is a big problem because not all students are given the same opportunity to get a good grade on the exam. If a parent cannot afford a review course, or proper review materials, then they will probably do worse than a student who attends Huntington, Sylvain and/or private tutoring.
