A small community in Northern Quebec is asking for outside assistance to help free 11 trapped orca whales who have been surfacing every few minutes.
Recently weather has become so cold that the vast stretch of sea ice has frozen over, leaving a small hole no larger than a pickup truck.
Time is of the essence in any crisis like this as we have learned in a similar situation involving 3 California grey whales in 1988.
I'm asking that our current administration do everything in their power to help free these truly majestic creatures.
