The Air Force is slated to eliminate their A-10 aircraft from the active air inventory. Troops on the ground depend on this aircraft for their very survival. The air support this aircraft provides cannot be replaced by any other current and/or future weapons system. This aircraft saves lives, and eliminating it shows a lack of perspective and common sense.
