Save American Jobs!

Created by K.S. on June 15, 2013

We need to adopt a strong Yarn-Forward rule in the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement. Vietnam is trying to gain new rules that would allow it to source textiles from China and export garments to the United States duty free. It's estimated that it will cost us 522,000 jobs.

The American textile industry is doing better now than the last 50 years, and we need to keep it that way. We can't afford to let Vietnam sneak through the back door and take roughly 500,000 of our jobs.
