Save American Serviceman from execution by Iran

Created by J.B. on January 10, 2012

Assuming the american sentenced to death for being a spy was not a spy, every person in power should strive to set this man free. He served our country and now faces being left alone to be executed, soon, by a self-proclaimed enemy that becomes more and more emboldened by our responses to similar and escalating incidents. Though not practical to save one man and stir up so much murky political water, we in this country have always stood for principles and strive to do what is right. That's why we don't torture, despite seemingly clear and immediate, palpable benefits to us, as citizens. I'm usually a realist, and even fatalistic, but this one makes me think. I unfortunately have imagined myself in his shoes, and it just smacks of injustice and heartache. Please try.
