I beg you to help change the current laws nationwide so that euthanasia toward animals is:
-Only legal in cases of medical emergencies.This includes, but is not limited to: un-treatable illness or reoccurring illness & the animal's quality of life is in danger.
-Only humane forms of euthanasia shall be legal.
Animals are innocent & should not cease to exist due to old age, overpopulation, they can't be afforded or b/c their adoption window has run out. It's murder & no animal should ever have to face this form of apathetic violence. Animals deemed aggressive by shelters should be treated by professionals & have strict regulations.
It is our duty to protect them, because only we can.
