Save the Ballpark in Arlington

Created by E.J. on May 28, 2016

The city of Arlington and ownership of the Texas Rangers have recently announced plans to demolish the Rangers' current ballpark.

Built to last for 100 years, the Ballpark is currently only 22 years old. Of those 22 years, the Rangers have made playoffs 7 times. It is the only park in which the Rangers have ever made playoffs. In this park, we Rangers fans have experienced both the joys and heartbreak of our team's history. This beautiful park deserves to be called home by the Rangers for generations to come, as we continue to build the history and tradition that our organization deserves.

While we are not against the consideration of adding a roof to the current ballpark, WE ARE UNEQUIVOCALLY OPPOSED TO DEMOLISHING THE BALLPARK.

Save our history. Save our character. Save our Ballpark.
