Save Billions of Dollars by reducing the Number of days the US Post Office Operates every week.

Created by C.T. on November 07, 2011

With the increase of digital commerce, banking and communication, we believe that the role of the US Post Office has forever changed and that the Post office could be much more efficiently run by:

1. Having the Offices open 3 and 1/2 days per week.
2. Reducing the days of delivery to Tuesday , Wednesday and Saturday. (These can be increased for December to account for an increase in business.)

This is a start and will have a positive and dramatic budgetary consequence while a deeper investigation is done to look at outsourcing or transforming the mail delivery service to a more efficient and effective organization.

The world has changed how we communicate. We can do better with our tax dollars here.
