Let's Build a Water Pipeline We Can All Agree On!!
The Eastern US spends Billions of dollars recovering from periodic floods and American lives are ruined every year. The Western US is drying up. Pipelines can be strategically built to carry water from eastern rivers during the rainy seasons to the mouth of the Colorado River. This would prevent floods and Billions in damages while preserving people's homes. From there, drought relieving water is carried all the way to California for free. The savings from preventing floods would more than pay for the construction cost of the pipelines. As they're just carrying water, leaks would not be an issue. Every state that benefits, along with the US Government, should pitch in for the construction costs, making such a project very affordable!
