As the Bluefin Tuna continues to be overfished the population gets closer and closer to extinction.
It may be improbable to conserve the Bluefin Tuna from overfishing across the world but we the people can make it illegal in the United States, and ban the sale of illegally caught Bluefin Tuna.
Overfishing Bluefin Tuna doesn't only affect the tuna and put them endangered to extinction, but while hunting for Bluefin Tuna across the world- approximately 300,000 whales, dolphins, and porpoises are victims of by-catch and are killed.
There are other solutions to continue eating Bluefin Tuna in the United States, and that is to farm-raise the Bluefin. At least until the population is out of the red-zone.
Take action now, because one signature can save a population, and restore a delicacy.
