Recent election in Bangladesh makes a mockery of democracy and turned the country towards a totalitarian government. Mayhem, hidden killing and widespread arrest of Opposition parties are rampant.The Supreme court, High Court,Election Commission,RAB (Rapid Action Battalion),Police are being used as a party tool to harass and kill opposition and other opinion members of the society. Eminent citizens like Prof.Yunus of Grameen Bank are harassed in public and removed.Top officials of International Human Rights are jailed for speaking against government.
So we urge the Government of USA to make an urgent decision and make a strong step to stop this Totalitarian Government and ask for immediate free and impartial election with all party participation.Only US can show a better future for BNGDSH!
