A petition to save the Detroit Institute of Art from having to sell its collection, which is valued at $500-$900 million dollars, to pay off its $18 billion dollar debt. Put the control of the DIA into the hands of a non-profit organization that would continue to protect and preserve the art that makes Detroit a cultural center.
