There is only about 80 to 100 Florida Panthers left in Florida. However, governor Rick Scott is now attempting to make it legal to hunt these endangered and almost extinct animals. We have spent many years restoring the species' population to thrive in the wild. Scott believes that there are enough in the wild, therefore we may start hunting them again. Which is not true.
