Save government funds and relieve stress of students by reducing the number of days in a school year to 170

The government is wasting a lot of money on unnecessary extra days of school. Being a high school student, I noticed that we do not need 180 days of school in order to fully comprehend the subject we are learning about. Also, I believe that ten of those 180 days can easily be cut out because we have many unproductive days where we just watch a movie or talk with each other. If we just took out 10 days of the school year, the government could save millions of dollars.
