save the historic Carman House in Lake Oswego, Oregon from destruction. Please invoke the Antiquities Act NOW!

Created by K.C. on December 31, 2013

The vast majority of Lake Oswego's citizens are sick of sprawl, dense-growth, and the proliferation of "McMansions" in our beautiful city.

Mr. President, you can step-in and save an important piece of our country's history - the 1855 Carman House - if you act now!

A decision has been made by our City Council that represents only a few. They claim "private property rights" to be their priority.
This precedent-setting decision only serves the current owners of this piece of Oregon history, and the developers who wish to profit from subdivision & development.

Some citizens are attempting to challenge this decision by our Council, but are running out of time.
If you do not act quickly and invoke the Antiquities Act NOW, this piece of our history will be lost to us forever.
