iraqi turkmen have been repelling ISIS insurgents for over a month despite low water,food and medical supplies in the town of Amirli In Salah Aldien Governrate ,However i believe that the town and its fighter will require both military aid by the iraqi military as well as support by the US Air force in order to repel ISIS for good since the Turkmen,like other iraqi minorities have been threatened by ISIS insurgents with murder to men and sex salvary to women
