Save a life by make organ donation mandatory when you get a license to drive. Allow an Opt Out for those who disagree.

When you get a drivers license, one of the questions you are asked is if you want to "opt in" to donating organs should you die in a car accident etc. I firmly believe it should be a default of "mandatory donation" unless the applicant "opts out" or "declines." This would save thousands, possibly millions of lives by making organs easy to come by. It won't hurt the survivors, since spots where organs are can be filled. It is a minor request that could have a massive impact on people who die every year waiting for organs. Preferential treatment should be given for the young first to be given organs they need, then everyone else. These organs should not be given to non-citizens, it would encourage others to abuse our system.
