save lives by making new automobiles incapable of engine start when seatbelt is not buckled.

Created by S.G. on February 09, 2013

It is against the law to drive without seat belts buckled and seat belts save lives, therefore since the administrations stated policy is to do anything that will save one life, I believe new automobiles should be manufactured so that they will not start if the seat belt is not buckled. It would not cost the manufacturers or law-abiding citizens any money or inconvenience and would save many more lives than any proposed infringement on law abiding citizens gun rights. My proposed seat belt / ignition ideas ability to save lives is a fact, where as believing a criminal with one 30 round ammo magazine is going to kill more people than a criminal with 3-10 round magazines is theoretical.
