Save lives. More safeguards needed for the prescribing of psychiatric meds. We want to protect patients and educate docs

Created by M.B. on June 12, 2015

We are pursuing the recognition of Ashton Syndrome, a iatrogenic illness with physical and neurological symptoms from theraputic use and cessation of benzodiazepines (e.g. Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin, Valium). People are incredibly sick, loosing their lives, famlies, jobs and ability to function. These conditions often inspire prescribing more psychiatric medications due to misdiagnosis and side effects. Proper protocol for diagnosing, prescribing, distribution and cessation of these drugs require further studies for a more thorough understanding of potential danger. Current studies lack sufficient time/funds to analyze effectiveness and consequence, as these drugs present serious complications after short term use. Please help us protect innocent people with reform and accountability.
