Save money and MAKE congress and presidential salaries a volunteer position.

I see all these petitions to succeeded from this great nation that so many men and woman have fought to stay together. We the people need to unite. The people are afraid of the US government, but the government should be afraid of its people. I say if WE want change that federal gov. Positions should be a volunteer spot and should have the basic American salary of 60,000 a year. Not only would that save money. But maybe the elected officials in office would work for the people and not for themselves.
