Stop Saturday delivery of letters could save millions because of fewer staff hours and less equipment needed to maintain the deliveries. It might just stop the next increase in postal fees. And maybe stop plans to close more post offices if Postal Service can finally stop letter/flyer deliveries 6 days a week. Maintain the plan to continue delivery of packages on Saturday. The post office leadership already supports it for good reason. Maybe the workers don't support, but then maybe they are collecting extra money for working on Saturday. This is not a vital service, I sometimes go days without picking up my mail and I have yet to run into any problems because of this. I'm a modern member of society that relies on the internet to receive and pay my bills.
