Save NASA's budget from being cut further to save high-tech jobs, innovation, and scientific discovery

Created by C.S. on February 27, 2013

With sequestration looming, cuts to science programs across the country don't just slow the progress of scientific discovery, but it also cuts high-tech jobs, slows technological innovations that have been crucial to our economy, and drives away people pursuing careers in the STEM fields as the outlook on careers in those fields grows more grim.

NASA is only 0.4% of the entire Federal budget, whereas we spend 24% of the budget on defense and 22% on pensions.

Save NASA, and save the future of America.

"As best as I can judge, NASA is like a force of nature unto itself, capable of stimulating the formation of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and technologists. You nurture these people for the sake of society, and they become the ones who make tomorrow happen."
-Neil deGrasse Tys
