I think that the safe haven law needs to be changed. Current law allows new parents 45 days to drop off unwanted babies to a safe haven location with no questions asked.
Safe haven law needs to be changed from 45 days to 2 years old. I think that 45 days is completely premature for a decision as serious as this. IN 45 days parents are still experiencing a rash of different emotions, thoughts and fears so for a person to make a life changing decision as major as this I think 45 days is unreasonable.
