This petition is being brought to bring about a change in the way that Social Security COLA increases are calculated with a fair and realistic cost analysis. We propose that the members of Congress and Senate create a new cost basis that reflects the true issues that face the elderly, vets and disabled legal citizens of this country to be in place within 12 months prior to the announcement of the 2015 announcement.
Additionally, I propose a select committee be formed to help alleviate and assist these citizens with appropriate housing needs and formulate a plan to provide safe and healthy housing which is cost based on income mediums.
