Rumors are circulating that Georgia Power will be shutting down Harllee Branch Power Plant in Eatonton, Ga. While whether or not the operations of the plant continuing are not of this petition's concern, there will be a landmark destroyed in the process. The plant has one of the tallest chimneys in the world (according to Wikipeida - a trusted source in chimney heights), standing at 1,001 feet high. Affectionately known as The Pencil, the chimney gives guidance to boaters on the lake and drivers on the highway. Some have even claimed that The Pencil is an all-knowing deity with god-like powers capable of wondrous things. So plz save The Pencil, Obama.
