Save the Postal Service by allowing it to erase its deficit by recouping its over-investment in its pension fund.

Created by J.D. on April 21, 2012

The Postal Service is not "plagued with deficits" as the media and Congress would have you believe. It has been forced by Congressional action to over-invest in its pension fund by literally billions of dollars. If allowed to recoup that investment, the Postal Service will once again thrive. If not, thousands will be laid off, and the rest of us will have to deal with huge inconvenience, or worse, the loss of the efficient and inexpensive Postal Service to private companies who answer to shareholders and have no compunction about how much they charge for "service".
