Save Public Schools

This petition is being written as an essential last resort. For the last 10 years, there has been an ongoing battle between a public school system and a "charter school" that is seeking to expand and push out the schools that are already present.
10 years ago, one of the schools had to be closed due to lack of funding, and irritated parents with too much money decided to start a "charter school". Now 10 long years later and with the closed school reopened, the "charter school" is still pushing forward though it doesnt fit the definition of a charter school. The area that it exists in has some of the top schools in the state of California and enough resources and funding to keep them up. This "charter school" takes money for admissions, and overall is a shady character. Please end it.
