The leaders of the Navy have decided to end a long standing tradition of the navy by killing off the rating system. Navy rates define us as sailors they are our pride and what we work towards its what I worked to earn from my days as a deck seaman to have to loose my rate is losing a piece of myself. The navy stands on honoring it's traditions but here we are killing somthing that defines traditions our titles please save our ratings don't destroy over 261 years of navy traditions.
