Save Saturday Delivery of Mail.

Created by R.A. on February 06, 2013

The Post Office is laboring under a mandate to pre-fund their retirement benefits for 75 years, a requirement no other company or organization on earth must follow. They are also forbidden to offer services such as photocopy or FAX services, which would help bring the USPS into the 21st century and make them more competitive financially.

Disabled and elderly who depend on the mail to receive needed medication, or those who receive pay checks or other support through the mail would have a two day wait if their mail does not reach them on Friday. It will create great hardship for folks with bills due, or who need their medications.

The USPS is the only non-defense government service required by our Constitution. It needs to be strengthened, not strangled by Congress.
