Save the Sea Shadow (IX-529) stealth ship from being sold for scrap by the navy.

Created by R.C. on April 29, 2012

The Navy has recently decided to put the sea shadow up for auction with the condition that it be scrapped almost immediately buy the buyer. This is a tragic waste of a truly unique naval vessel that could be used by any number of institutions including schools (as a research ship), the coast guard ( as an interdiction vessel), as a museum piece, or any one of of a dozen other possible uses. This Ship is an important piece of naval history and considering that it cost the navy $195 million dollars to build it is a ridiculous waste of a good ship.
