Social Security is a self funding program. It has very low overhead costs and could be made safe and secure if Congress had not taken $2.75 Trillion over the years for the General Fund. The securities in place are practically worthless, no fundamental backing.
When Republicans attack Social Security they are less than truthful. Social Security is not the reason we have a high national debt. It is the unfunded wars and corporate welfare that have gotten us in this mess. Please start a campaign to explain to the American People that the Republicans are misleading us and to get Congress to at least stop robbing our people.
