We the people of the state of Florida request that the President save Florida from secession from the USA. Over 25,000 persons have signed a petition requesting that Florida secede. Secession would abridge the privileges and immunities of citizens of the USA who are also citizens of Florida, would deprive them of life, liberty or property without due process of law, and would deny them equal protection of the law pursuant to the U.S. Constitution, Amendment XIV, SECTION 1. Secession is prohibited pursuant to four years of costly Civil War. Those requesting secession lack standing to do so. Florida is a valuable member of the Union. Individuals wishing to leave the Union are free to do so, but should not take an entire state with them at the expense of over 20 million Florida residents.
