This is at a time when the government needs to save as much as it can, and both the penny and the nickel cost more than they are worth. Other countries, such as Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, have already realized the idiocy of continued production of these forms of currency and have already switched. All we ask is that the United States join these nations.
